Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian theater, movie, and TV actress for over 20 years. While she never had any intention of acting however, destiny took a completely opposite path. After her breakthrough in her debut film, she received many offers which she refused to focus on the studies. As a teenager and a young actress, she acted in films such as 'Jane Eyre,' 'Fly Away Home' and X-Men. The role she played in X-Men was the catalyst for her worldwide fame. The actress reprised her character as 'Rogue' in sequels, such as 'X2' and 'X-Men The Last Stand. In addition, she made tiny screen appearances, most notably in the role of 'Elaine Goodale 'Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee,' where she earned her first nomination for an Emmy.
