Srushti Deshmukh is beginning to prepare for the UPSC entrance in her third year of her engineering degree. While she was graduating in engineering, she was unsure if it would make her happy. In the following years, she realized that her passion was in civil service and decided to pursue the field. Her parents encouraged her to prepare for civils and make it a profession serving the public. She focused her energy on being an IAS officer. You need to put in more effort to get UPSC. She used to study the engineering subjects and then prepare for UPSC while also studying various subjects. Everyday she carved out some time for preparation. In just one and a quarter months, she passed her engineering exams, and avoided all contact with people. She believes that focusing on her work is crucial to be able to pass the test for government jobs and to be eligible for a job as a civil servant. She wanted to pass to the end of the process with ease, and she put in lots of work. In order to stay up-to-date on the latest news, she used to regularly read papers.
